The name Ve-thëti Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Ve-thëti Dêtîkè was founded by Zlêd Shegadsí, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Ve-thëti Dêtîkè receives an average of 266 cm/y (104 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Ve-thëti Dêtîkè covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3268 m (10721 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 18th century in late summer of the year 1688, by Zlêd Shegadsí. The establishment of Ve-thëti Dêtîkè was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Zlêd Shegadsí struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Ve-thëti Dêtîkè as a prison colony.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 18th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ve-thëti Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè is was constructed arround several crampt cobblestone mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Ve-thëti Dêtîkè's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. Ve-thëti Dêtîkè's boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Ve-thëti Dêtîkè ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. The locals seem to have responded to their slow downfall by recreating Ve-thëti Dêtîkè as one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which the town brings to mind.
Civic Infrastructure
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Ve-thëti Dêtîkè.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè has a Hall of Slayers, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Ve-thëti Dêtîkè's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Ve-thëti Dêtîkè's grid is powered by mana accumulators.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.
In Ve-thëti Dêtîkè rain occurs in reverse with water pooling up from the earth then falling into the skies to from clouds, this unsettles every visitor that sees it.
The Faerie Mount near Ve-thëti Dêtîkè are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Ve-thëti Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves drinking to channel Mysticism energies of tier 1 via throat chanting.
Economy

Ve-thëti Dêtîkè's is something of a geological and arcane anomaly, as neither physical nor magical law entirely explains its formation.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Kami spared the town from an attack. One of Ve-thëti Dêtîkè's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
